The Mexican American Bar Foundation proudly announces the application season for its scholarship awards. The Foundation was established in 1991 by volunteer lawyers and judges. Through the generosity of law firms, corporate law departments, and others committed to increasing access to the legal profession, the Foundation has awarded over $600,000 in the form of 216 scholarships to 183 individual law students.
In awarding scholarships, the Foundation’s Scholarship Committee considers the applicant’s academic achievement, community service, financial need, and hardships overcome. Students of Latin heritage attending law school at Loyola, Pepperdine, Southwestern, UCLA, or USC are eligible to apply.

Those applicants selected to receive a scholarships must commit to being present at the MABF Scholarship & Awards Gala on Saturday, June 12, 2010, at the Millenium Biltmore Hotel.
